We do not directly charge sellers a fee to sell their tickets through Twickets - however, if the PayPal payment method was used, it can appear that way when initially looking at your PayPal transactions. This is due to PayPal handling the whole buyer transaction. We charge a fee to the buyer who sends both our fee and your payment together through PayPal, who redirect our buyer fee on to us.
Here’s how the payment works for PayPal:
You will have received a credit via PayPal from the buyer once your ticket(s) sold.
This will have included the funds for the tickets sold, plus any delivery charges owed to you by the buyer.
In addition, the buyer would have incurred a Twickets buyer's fee for the transaction, detailed as "partner fee" on your PayPal statement.
PayPal will then have transferred the Twickets buyer's fee directly to Twickets.
This fee is not a charge to you as a seller, and the amount you receive will be the full amount you've listed on your listing, or accepted as offer minus PayPal's standard selling fee
PayPal's standard selling charges do apply. For more information on PayPal's charges, please click here.
