Your PayPal account may not provide the option to turn e-cheque acceptance off. If this is the case, PayPal has provided us with a workaround. Please upgrade your PayPal account from a personal to a business account for free. You will need to use your name as the business name. Once you have done so, you should be able to follow the instructions below to block e-cheque acceptance. 


If your personal PayPal account does allow you to turn e-cheque acceptance off, please do the following: 


  1. Login to your PayPal account.
  2. On the "Summary" page, select "My Profile" (cog icon), and then click the "Seller preferences" link.
  3. Click on the "Getting paid and managing my risk - Block payments" update link.
  4. Select the payment receiving preferences you wish to implement and click on the "Save" button.
